Congratulations to Buddy aka Lacemoat RocknRola who has finished his kitten show career on a high winning best of breed out of 5 brown bengals at the Midland counties show.
Buddy has now been neutered and will be continuing his show career as a show neuter - we very much look forward to seeing how he does and hope to see some PC's coming his way.

Many thanks to his owners Teresa & Charles who have shown exemplary standards in getting both Buddy and his brother Louis used to showing - they are cracking boys and take it all in their stride.

As for us; we will be campaigning our Show neuter CHA Typhast Orianna to hopefully get to the next level of Grand champion in the 2012-2012 TICA show season, kicking off with Ragtime at the end of June - we hope to have lots of news over the coming months.

Many thanks

Show Results!!

29/04/2012

We have re-jigged our website a little to give more space to our show results page - as we are concentrating more on showing this year we thought it would be the best idea!

We are hoping to get to a show a month - so do keep a check on how we are doing! - We attended our first show of 2012 this month where our cat Saffron acquired the title of Champion Alter - what a great start!!

Aswell as our own cats show results cats we will be following two of our home bred kittens Buddy & Louis show results and posting critiques - they are already showing great promise!!

New page added

21/04/2012

We've added a new Diet & Nutrition page which can be found as a sub-header under the our cats section.
It details a little about what we feed our pets (cats & Dogs), a few useful facts & some links to great sources of information in regards to raw feeding and suppliers etc.

Do take a look.

Happy Birthday!!!

02/04/2012

We would like to wish our very special Poppy x Striker litter a Happy 1st Birthday today!
Sausage, Nala, Ifan & Ash really were the perfect first litter we could ask for - and it feels like only yesterday that I watched them come into the world.
We are extremely thankful to their mum's and dads for making sure they have the best possible lives we could hope for.
Sausage lives here with us and we just adore her. Ashik & Ifan live with their mum Julie with their new Bengal brother Gareth and Nala lives with her mummy and daddy Emma & Dan - she is a very spoilt kitty with only the best! Nala is so lucky she has her own wheel that her dad Dan has recently made for her.
Here is my favourite photo of the gang of beauties - I miss them all the time and wish I could relive the first 13weeks of their lives again and again!

We have added a nice big Gallery of photos for our dogs - if you hover your mouse over the Gallery section a drop down will appear - go take a look!

Also we have recently had Poppy neutered, she is doing fantastically after her operation - although she does seem to be sulking a little! Heres a photo of her and her daughter Tutti - she doesnt look tooooo unhappy!
Last but not least we have also added a Guestbook to our site - at long last! If you would like to leave us a message please feel free do to so, but we warned - we moderate each entry so no spamming allowed.
We will be off to our first show of the year next month - so do stay tuned to see how we get on! Until then, enjoy browsing.
Many thanks all at Lacemoat x

Taking a break....

29/11/2011

We will be taking a break from breeding in 2012 to concentrate on our hobby of showing - something we unfortunately have had hardly any time to do this year.
Now we have our homebred girls we will be of course proudly showing them off - we hope to get all our cats out next year. Poppy after giving us two amazing litters will be spayed after her current kittens have gone to their new home, sadly she is a prolific caller and as we do not want to use her as a breeding machine then we feel this is the best choice for her - of course she will be staying here with us!
Sausage her daughter has recently been spayed before she matures and comes into heat - and will remain here as a very treasured pet.
Tutti our final homebred girl has been registered on the active register and we will access whether we will be having a litter from her at the end of 2012 after she has had a fun year at the shows.
We are extremely excited and very much looking forward to 2012 here at Lacemoat!

Many thanks
Claire x
