All you need to know when it comes to owning a Lacemoat Kitten
Our kittens are born and raised in our home, we do not have any cats of any age living outside, they do have a garden enclosure where they can all safely play together - but only when supervised by us.
Our pregnant queens call the shots - and from experience they prefer to continue life as normal right up to the first stages of labour, we do not pen our cats or separate them from the rest of the family until the queen has given birth, only then are the resident cats and the nursing mum and kittens separated. We do this until 9 weeks of age when the kittens have had their first set of vaccinations - the health and wellbeing of all of our cats is paramount to us. We only have 1 or 2 litters per year and breed primarily for ourselves - by this we mean that we breed to improve on our own cats and hope to establish healthy, beautiful lines.
We put a great deal of care into our kittens upbringing and making sure the nursing mother has everything she needs so that she is comfortable and happy.
Below you will find the main conditions of sale in regards to pet kittens we may have available to the right homes. We have these conditions for the kittens and potential owners happiness.

~We require all pet kittens to be neutered at 6-7months of age - registration slips will be withheld until proof of neutering. Why? because it is in their best interest and yours, female cats left to call can not only spray, they can attract unwanted attention and in the worse possible case develop pyometra - an example of this is one of our upcoming queens had to be spayed at the age of 1 years old due to developing this horrible condition - we were lucky as it was a visible pyometra (open cervix) however closed is not so apparent and can be deadly. In males neutering at 6 months has no effect on the males wellbeing, it does not stop them developing or maturing as they should but what is does stop is again territorial marking and male dominant behaviour.
UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD ANY OF OUR KITTENS BE BRED FROM, THEY ARE ALL PLACED ON THE NON-ACTIVE REGISTER (NOT FOR BREEDING) - our contract of sale also reflects this.
~We require all our cats to be homed indoors and not left to free roam. Bengals simply do not have the road sense as regular moggies. Please do not ever attempt to compare a Bengal to any other breed of cat when considering outdoor access, they are extremely inquisitive animals, athletic and stand out. They are not bred to be outdoor cats and although some may be suited to going outdoors - these are the small exception.
Please note : - the average life span of a cat that is allowed to free roam is 3 years old, we want our kittens to live a happy and fulfilled life away from any danger. Bengals are a highly desirable breed, they stand out from the crowd, they are also not that far removed from the wild Asian leopard cat and as such do not have the years of road sense built into them like other breeds more developed will have.
~If for any reason you can no longer care for one of our kittens regardless of age we will endeavour to help in anyway we can such as taking the cat back and/or assisting in rehome. Under no circumstances should ANY cat bred by us be handed to a rescue/rehome centre.
~A non-refundable deposit of £100 will be required on booking a kitten-We only request this deposit when we know there is a kitten available for you. You are more then welcome to be put down on our waiting list without a deposit payment. Please note we will not take a deposit for any kitten until you have personally visited us and our kittens.
~There is the option of purchasing two kittens together (litters depending) as often Bengals thrive with a playmate for company, but this is not essential. We will offer a discount on the 2nd kitten if two kittens purchased together at the same time.
~We Offer support throughout your kittens life; so remember we are only a phone call away if you ever need us...we love to hear how any kitten born here is progressing.
~We retain the right to refuse sale of any of our kittens/cats if we do not feel a suitable home is offered.
All our conditions of sale are purely for the kittens best interest.
