Born 2nd April 2011 - Registered with TICA (The Internation Cat Association)
'Lacemoat Striker Pose' - 'Lacemoat Aint No Fool' - 'Lacemoat Drama Queen - 'Lacemoat Blue Rogue'
We are extremely proud of our very first litter of Lacemoat Bengal Kittens. Poppy welcomed 4 kittens into the world, a wonderfully healthy litter of two boys & two girls - 'Tula aka Sausage' 'Ashik' 'Nala' & 'Ifan'
So that their new owners could see how the kittens were progressing we kept a blog\diary of the first 12 weeks of their lives before they left us to join their new families at 13 weeks old. Below you can see that diary with lots of photos and information.

12 Weeks old (25th June 2011)

Well that time is nearly here when the kittens fly the nest. Its their last weekend with us & we will miss them very much. They had their final vet check & vaccination yesterday and all are in perfect health, we will be giving them their final worming today & they were microchipped thursday. We havent done our usual weekly 'photo shoot' as our family have been round saying their goodbyes, so here is a special photo of Ifan, Ash & Nala (on lap) with my 6year old nephew Matthew..we hope you have enjoyed seeing our babies grow and we wish them all the best luck in their new homes with their new families - Julie, Emma & Dan x

9 week old (3rd June 2011)

Its been an extra important week for the kittens as today theyve had their first vacinations & Health Check at the vets. Im happy to report all Kittens have a glowing report. We are so pleased with them. They will be going back for the second part of their jab's at 12weeks old where they will receive their final Health check. The kittens eye colour has fully changed this week - all the babies have stunning green eyes.

8 week old (28th May 2011)

The Kittens have been wormed for a second time today, they will be done again at 12 weeks old. This week we have also clipped their claws, with no problems at all. All the kittens have reached over 1kg in weight so they are growing nicely. Theyve spent alot of time in the lounge, kitchen etc this week, mixing with the dogs aswell. All are very outgoing!

7 week old (21st May 2011)

Well we have our 1st kitten to reach 1kg in weight and although we thought it was going to be Ash its turned out to be Ifan. All kittens are over 900gs now with the boys being slightly bigger.Im noticing the eyes of the brown kitens are starting to change ever so slighly and looking to be green.

6 weeks old (15th May 2011)

The time is really flying and the kittens are doing great, they are all developing their own personalities. Ifan & Ashik are typical little boys into everything! especially my feet! They are both very laid back but with that typical bengal naughty streak thrown in! The girls are very cuddley, loving & playful - all a real joy. We will be clipping their claws soon (only a little bit) just to get them used to it. Theyve been introduced to the rest of the house now inc the dogs and they are getting used to the dreaded vacum!

5 weeks old (7th May 2011)

The kittens are soooo lively - we were lucky to get these photos as most came out blurred! All Kittens are now happily using the litter tray - we are really pleased with how theyve took to it...they are also gradually starting to ween onto solids. Theyve grown quite abit especially the boys! All have put on over 100g in the last week. They were also wormed this week - didnt go down to well and I ended up with more on me!

4 weeks old (1st May 2011)

We are a day late taking our photos this week as the kittens have been busy having visitors - all the litter are now booked and we are extremely happy with their new mummys & Daddys. Photos are becoming ever more difficult as they literally do not sit still!! The kittens are well into the 'ugly fuzzies' stage. This is when extra guard hairs grow camouflaging their coat & Spots - in the wild this happens to essencially hide the kittens from possible preditors. We hope you enjoy the photos

3 weeks old (22nd April 2011)

We thought we would take a few relaxed shots this week. The kittens are really coming along, they are interacting with each other, nibbling ears, biting feet & grooming themselves. We have started to introduce a few visual toys which they are focusing on and very interested in. They are moving about now - at quite some speed!!

We couldnt resist sharing this photo of one of our boys - isnt he lovely!!

2 weeks old (16th April 2011)

Wow the kittens are growning so fast - they are now 2weeks old and doing really well, moving around exploring their nursing box- Weve now set up the playpen and placed the nursing box in there - keeping them safe for when they decide to travel abit further a field! All eyes are now open. we are very pleased with how they are developing

10 days old (12th April 2011)

The kittens eyes are now opening - most have one if not both eyes fully/partically opened. Here starts the chaos! all kittens have more then doubled their birth weights gaining approx 12-20g daily. We are extremely pleased with how they are developing, Poppy is a wonderful mother.
